A lot of forsythia seems to have bloomed overnight, and it sure looks beautiful. Daffodils and crocuses are making themselves know, too.
AND, I got the best black seedless grapes at Kroger's for $0.88 a lb.

'tis good that the forsythias are blooming already this early. There's always one more instance of some snow after they bloom. (Maybe nothing but flurries but still cold enough to snow) So it's good to have them bloom early and get it over with. I will miss lilacs, we don't have them here. Mt. Airy Forest has a whole hillside of them up above the lake you should take the girls to see that area, it's really beautiful in mid April when everything is in bloom.

Your best bet would be to take West Fork to Shepards Creek and hang a left at the stop sign and hang a right up the hill into Mt. Airy. Up by the entrance you make a left and follow that on past the lake and to the arboretum area. Or take North Bend Road all the way to Colerain Avenue and hang a right and then another right as soon as you turn into the park and it's the first side road after you come in. That whole section of park is about the prettiest park in the city IMO. Would you look at that, to read my post one would almost think there are things I miss about Cincinnati... [img]eek.gif[/img]

One of the greater Cincinnati areas best features is it's parks. Both in the Hamilton County park District and accros the river. There are a lot of great parks round these parts and all have features that make them distinctive from each other.
